Claude Code

Claude Code training for engineering teams

Claude Code is easy to install and hard to standardize. Teams end up with a few power users, a lot of light users, and no shared practices. Our workshop is a day with your engineers in your own codebase, building those practices together.

What you'll learn

  • Setup and safe defaults, including which permissions to grant on day one and which to never grant
  • CLAUDE.md and the context files that make a codebase workable for an agent
  • When to plan first, when to let it run, and when to take the keyboard back
  • Skills, hooks, and MCP servers that fit your stack
  • Reviewing agent-written code without rubber-stamping it
  • What to commit to the repo so the whole team benefits

Format

A full day, or two half-days, on-site or virtual. We work in your own repositories with your permission; if your security team prefers we don't, we use a realistic sandbox repo.

Who it's for

Engineering teams adopting Claude Code, and leads who want consistent practices across the team.

Frequently asked questions

Is Claude Code training suitable for beginners?

Yes, mixed groups work fine. Beginners get set up; experienced users usually find features they hadn't touched.

Is this a Claude Code course?

It's live training, not a self-paced course. The fastest way we know to learn Claude Code is working in your own codebase with someone in the room, so that's how we run it.

Do we work in our own codebase?

Ideally, yes. We're happy to work under an NDA, and we use a realistic sandbox repo when a security team prefers that.

What do engineers need beforehand?

Claude Code installed and authenticated. We'll send the details when you book.

Do you cover Codex too?

Yes, in a separate Codex workshop. Plenty of teams run both.
